Last Week's Book Haul

My mailman must have loved me last week!  With the exception of The Patron Saint of Lost Dogs (from the library) all of these books came in the mail.

The Patron Saint of Lost Dogs by Nick Trout: I just started this yesterday, so far it seems a little funny and definitely heartwarming. Plus, I love dogs, so I'm sure it'll go well for me.  I wanted to read this before the second book, Dog Gone, Back Soon that I was pre-approved for on NetGalley.

Puritan Witch by Penni Jo Renner: Historical Fiction of the Salem Witch Trials written by Rebecca Eames' (an accused witch) ancestor.

The Confabulist by Steven Galloway: My March LibraryThing Early Reviewers win! Another historical fiction/mystery about Harry Houdini.

Soulless by Gail Carriger: Book One of the Parasol Protectorate, a young adult, historical, paranormal mystery with vampires. Should be fun!

The Bees by Laline Paull: From the perspective of actual bees, and one bee who decides to break the mold.  Environmental fiction

Zaremba or Love and the Rule of Law by Michelle Granas: My Booklikes win!  I've been wanting to read this for a long time, so I'm super happy that I had a chance to win it. A political drama set in Poland.

Lots of good spring reading for me!
